Tunable Band Pass Filters and Band Reject Filters

Tunable Band Pass and Band Reject Filters

Pasternack Enterprises’ new tunable band pass filters and band reject filters (also referred to as band-stop filters or band-rejection filters) are bench top units designed for lab use where they are an integral part of the test lab environment. Six bandpass configurations are available with octave-band tuning from 125 MHz to 3 GHz and a 5% pass band. These band pass filters use a tunable 5-section design and have a mechanical direct dial that is accurate within 1%. Five bandreject configurations are available with octave-band tuning ranges from 100 MHz to 2 GHz and are accurate to 1% of the reject band. The band reject filters utilize a 3-section design and have a mechanical direct-dial tuner accurate to 0.5%. Both the bandpass and bandreject filters have an average power handling of 50 Watts and are designed with Type N female connectors.

Pasternack’s tunable RF filters are perfect for a lab environment testing UHF, PMR, Tetra, LTE, PCS and WiFi frequency bands. The tunable filters are effective in band selection or frequency discrimination with high attenuation greater than 50 dB possible, allowing for excellent noise, harmonic and adjacent-band reduction. These highly durable units employ ruggedized aluminum construction with critical surfaces being silver plated.
